Horsica.de is a German horse club social network we did for horse Riders, Horse lovers and anybody who has got something to say about horses. The site is built on Elgg 1.8.12 with a lot of customization  The developments were an advanced horse plugin, a horse pit plugin, and the entire site setup.

Horse plugin

The horse plugin will allow the site Users to list their horses with all its features including breed, sex, height, color etc. The users can add the horse to the market place (where other users can search and buy horses) with a single click. Users can upload multiple photos of their horses and can show them to the public. Other users can comment, like on the horse posts and can search on horses based on multiple search criteria  The search results can be sorted by price range, alphabetic and other multiple parameters. Users can even search on particular price range. The searches are made real time with ajax support.

Pits Plugin

Another custom development for this Horsica Social Network was the Pits plugin development. This functionality will allow the site users to list, search and find the horse pits nearest to them. The lists can be sorted based on zipcode, alphabetically and location based. Users can see the pit location using the help of google maps.
